How to Add Custom Arabic Fonts to Canva

In order to apply Arabic fonts to your Canva Project, the fonts must be uploaded to the Canva Brand Kit. You can upload Fonts to Canva in different formats. Canva supports:

  • The Web Open Font Format (WOFF)
  • The Web Open Font Format (WOFF 2.0)
  • TrueType Fonts (TTF)
  • SVG Fonts/Shapes
  • Embedded OpenType Fonts (EOT)

1: Head over to Canva > Brand Kit >Fonts, and click ‘Add new’.

2: Now, add any font by uploading its WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, SVG, or EOT file. Note: You first need to save the font on the computer.

3: Once the font is uploaded, your new custom fonts will be available in the typography controls of every layer that contains the text. Simply select the text and under font Section> choose your custom font.
